CAN WE TALK?: The Women Mentoring Young Ladies Ministry presents Can We Talk for young ladies in grades 3-12. The next session—School Success—is Jan 13 at 6:30, lower fellowship hall. Presenters are Ayanna Scriven and Callie McGill-Thomas.

SNEAKER BALL: Our Youth Department's Sneaker Ball – “Faith Kicks Strong.” Calling all youth! Get ready for an unforgettable night of faith, fun, and fresh kicks at our first-ever Sneaker Ball—created especially for young people ages 5 to 18. Tickets are available now at the media desk for a small donation of $12 per person or $15 for two tickets when purchased together. This event is designed as a special experience focused on our youth. To help us create a safe and engaging environment, attendance is reserved for youth participants. Kindergarten through 2nd-grade attendees must be accompanied by a ticketed parent or adult who will remain on-site. So grab your faith, invite your friends, and lace up your flyest sneakers—because this year, we’re walking in victory! Saturday, Jan 24, 6:30-9 p.m., S.C Prince Hall Grand Lodge, 2334 Gervais St., across from the sanctuary.

HEALTHCARE AND WELLNESS: Our Healthcare and Wellness Ministry reminds us that January is National Thyroid Awareness Month. According to the American Thyroid Association, 1 in 10 people suffer from a thyroid disorder. They also found that at least 1 in 8 women will develop a thyroid disorder during her lifetime. Thyroid disease refers to a number of conditions that affect how the gland functions. The thyroid can be either overactive or underactive and both conditions can lead to health problems. Thyroid conditions are all treatable.

TAX STATEMENTS: Tax season is almost here.  Automatic mail out of tax statements occurs for annual donations of $250 or more in accordance with IRS regulations.  Statements for donations less than $250 are available upon request.  To ensure timely receipt of your tax statement, please ensure we have your current information on file.  If you would like to receive your tax statement/and a detailed payment schedule via email, please contact the Financial Secretary at 803 771-2898 or via email at
