A Charge to Keep… In great faith, we are continuing our  135 Mortgage Reduction and Scholarship Endowment Campaign!  Donations from FNBC members and Friends of First Nazareth Baptist Church are most appreciated. Our goal is to reduce our mortgage by $1,000,000. The more we reduce our GIANT mortgage balance, the more we can do His will– feed & clothe more of those most in need, help provide support services to more those neglected by the system, spread the message of His good news even farther, etc. By establishing a $50,000. scholarship endowment, the earned interest may be used annually to help sponsor tuitions, the principal funds are never touched, and the scholarship in the names of Pastor Blakely & Mrs. Mary Scott, is in perpetuity. In 2012, First Nazareth Baptist Church celebrated our 135th Anniversary. We gave praise to God for this historical milestone through worship and events throughout the year.  "Nazareth" was organized on December 14, 1877 and we have grown exponentially from our first structure built at 1520 Pickens Street to our present Gervais Street location. We seek your continued prayers and support, and we invite all to join us in worship.
